Meet Our Staff Minimize

Mrs. Kerri Shindle

Mrs. Shindle has been teaching at Noah's Rainbow for seven years.  She began her career teaching first through third grade for the Lancaster-Lebanon IU#13 and second grade for the Warwick School District.  She earned her Bachlor's Degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education.  Mrs. Shindle received her Master's Degree in Special Education from Millersville University.

Mrs. Shindle teaches our Tuesday/Thursday three year old preschool class.  She also serves as the Director of Noah's Rainbow Preschool.  She continues her education each year by attending numerous in-services and seminars relating to Early Childhood Education.

Mrs. Shindle lives in the L-S School District with her husband and two daughters.  She was a stay-at-home mother for ten years before she returned to teaching.  She is an active member of Wesley UMC and serves on Team Wesley and the Administrative Council.  Mrs. Shindle enjoys spending time with her family, reading, scrapbooking, and going to the beach.

Mrs. Wendy Jones

Mrs. Jones has been teaching preschool for the past five years.  Prior to that, she taught at Swift Middle School in Quarryville and Talley Middle School in Wilmington, Delaware.  She earned her Bachlor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in Theatre from Kutztown University. 

Mrs. Jones teaches our Pre-Kindergarten classes.  She is active with the Transition to Kindergarten initiative among Lancaster County School Districts and Early Childhood Professionals.

Mrs. Jones lives in the L-S School District with her husband, daughter, and son.  Both of her children are Noah's Rainbow Graduates.  Mrs. Jones and her family began 2010 by joining Wesley UMC.  She serves as a Children's Church Leader and as a Sunday School Curriculum Advisior.  In her free time, Mrs. Jones likes to spend time outdoors with her family and enjoys going to the family cabin near Penn State.

Mrs. Shannon Freedland 

Mrs. Freedland has taught our two year playgroup for two years.  Prior to being a stay-at-home mom, she taught at Octorara Elementary School in Atglen.  She earned her Bachelor's Degree in English and Elementary Education from Virginia Wesleyan College.

Mrs. Freedland lives in Strasburg with her husband, daughter, and son.  Her daughter is a Noah's Rainbow Graduate and her son is a current student.  Outside of school, Mrs. Freedland enjoys walking, reading, and traveling with her family.

Mrs. Christine Johnson

Mrs. J, a former teacher's assistant at Noah's Rainbow Preschool, earned her Bachlor's Degree in Fine Arts from Arcadia University.  She returned to us after receiving her teaching certification from Millersville University.  Mrs. J teaches our Monday/Wednesday three year old class. 

Mrs. J lives in the L-S School District with her husband, daughter, and son.  Both of her children are Noah's Rainbow Graduates.  In her free time, Mrs. J likes to spend time with her family visiting historic sites and museums.  She also enjoys watercolor painting.  In 2009, her Ireland Exhibit was displayed in the Steinmetz Gallery at the Lancaster County Art Association.

Mrs. Jen Heiser

This is Miss Jen's fourth year at Noah's Rainbow.  She currently assists in the Pre-K classes.  She lives in the L-S School District with her husband, daughter, and son.  Her son is a graduate of Noah's Rainbow. 

Miss Jen enjoys cooking, baking, and listening to Celtic and Scottish music.  Prior to being a stay-at-home mom, she worked for Roseville Pediatrics. She is very active at Wesley UMC.  Her favorite thing about Noah's Rainbow is teaching the children about God and His Creation.

Mrs. Judy Rineer

Miss Judy has been employed at Noah's Rainbow for seven years.  She currently assistants in the  Pre-Kindergarten class.  Miss Judy and her husband live in the L-S School District. She is also employed by the L-S School District in the School Age Child Care program.

Miss Judy has two grown daughters and one granddaughter.  She is active at Wesley UMC on Team Wesley, as a Sunday school teacher, Children's Church & junior choir leader, and is a member of the senior choir.  She likes participating in her book club and singing praises to God.  Her favorite thing about Noah's Rainbow is singing and drawing with the children.

Ms. Liana Kieley

Miss Liana is in her third year at Noah's Rainbow as a two year and three year class assistant.  Both of her sons graduated from Noah's Rainbow.  Miss Liana and her sons live in the Lampter-Strasburg School District.

Miss Liana began 2011 by joining Wesley UMC.  She is a co-leader of Wesley's Creative Christian Kids Weekly After School Camp for children in Kindergarten thru fifth grade.   Her interests include cooking, baking, reading, and spending time with her children.  Her favorite thing about Noah's Rainbow is the children and their sweet smiles.

Mrs. Leanne Wolgemuth

Miss Leanne joined our staff in September 2011 after being a substitute during the 2010-2011 school year.  She also works as the Child Watch Coordinator for the Lancaster Family YMCA - Center City.  Miss Leanne, her husband, son, and daughter live in the L-S School District.  Her son is a Noah's Rainbow graduate and her daughter is a current student.

Miss Leanne and her family attend St. Anthony's of Pauda.  In her spare time, she likes to go hiking with her family. 

Mrs. Jeni Landis

Miss Jeni is in her first year at Noah's Rainbow as a two year class assistant.  Her three children attend Noah's Rainbow.  Miss Jeni, her husband and her children live in the Pequea Valley School District.

Miss Jeni's interests include spending time with her family and watching the Flyers and Phillies.  Her favorite thing about Noah's Rainbow is the welcoming family environment.
