Children’s Sunday School

     At Wesley the children participate in Children’s Sunday School WoRM!!!! WoRM is an acronymn for Workshop Rotation Model Sunday School. WoRM recognizes we each learn in different ways - some through ‘doing’, others through listening; some through the story told in music, others by watching the story on the screen or by dramatically acting out the story. WoRM offers an incredible learning opportunity for our Middle School and High School students who are invited to assist Adult Leaders in leading WoRM workshops. WoRM follows the very familiar VBS approach. WoRM also allows adults to both participate in Children’s Sunday School by leading a short term WoRM rotation (normally 3 weeks) while at the same time not missing out on Adult Sunday School.

 Our Children’s Sunday School and Children's Chapel Workshop Winter Rotation is following the themes shared during worship in January:

1/8 - 1/22 - Joseph

1/29 - 2/12 - Moses

2/19 - 3/4 - The 10 Commandments
3/11 - 3/25 - Joshua

Adults meet in A103 & Music Room - upper level Asbury Building

10:00 Parents sign-in Children for Sunday School in Fellowship Hall

10:00 - 10:10 Children's Sunday School opens with singing

10:10 am - Workshop Groups are released with Leader

10:45 am - Parents pickup children in Fellowship Hall

10:50 am - Contemporary Worship service begins in Sanctuary

approximately 11:15 am - Children through 3rd grade released to Children's Chapel
